Momentous Change is Remodeling Your Inner Temple
🌙 COSMOS REPORT
Hello, fellow love warriors — love and light warriors,
In the aftermath of last month’s eclipses, and in the six months since the last round, I see we’re being invited to take stock of our progress — to notice the work done and what’s ready for release. These eclipses often stir the waters, surfacing what’s still there to be healed — the blocks, fears, or old patterns that arise just as we’re expanding into new levels of our being.
That’s how healing and growth work: with expansion, anything not aligned with the new frequency naturally comes up for clearing.
I’ve noticed this for myself lately — old survival fears resurfacing. Growing up as one of eight kids, money was often tight. The house would sometimes go into forbearance, even appear in the paper, and the utilities would be turned off. We weren’t starving — it was a kind of first-world poverty. Eventually, things would recover, but the anxiety lingered.
Now, as I sense a new level of expansion on the horizon, that old anxiety shows up asking to be healed once more. So how do we embrace these growth edges and truly heal them?
💫 WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN OLD STUFF RISES TO HEAL
In a recent shift, I first noticed challenging emotions — frustration, sadness, self-criticism. (Really? I’m still dealing with this?) These are signs of something deeper coming up for attention. These uncomfortable passages can also be a signal a breakthrough is approaching.
You may feel slowed down or stuck, unsure if you’re “depressed” or simply in need of rest. Often, it’s both: a signal to pause, to stop pushing, to soften into what’s asking to be felt. It’s disorienting at times, and it may alter the day’s plans.
When in doubt, I’ve learned to rest.
🕊️ THE HEALING SEQUENCE
The first stage of healing is often emotional. It can be uncomfortable — you may not know how to be with those feelings in a healthy way. But allowing spaciousness for your emotions helps them shift. From there, self-compassion enters, and the heart begins to lead the process.
Healing always involves the heart and the emotional brain. Logic alone doesn’t do it. The emotional brain doesn’t buy “just do what you need to do.” It needs felt safety and love. It needs evidence of your heart taking part in the shift.
So when emotions from the past arise, along with old thinking patterns, let your heart take the reins — it knows how to integrate what logic cannot. Once that is complete, logical next steps will enter with grace, when you stay embodied.
Yesterday looked like a lost day, from the logical brain’s productivity report. This morning, all of the healing work created a fresh start, and more clarity for the new blog/NL format. The morning meditation was also a reset. And the NL revision happened with ease and grace, even alongside the laundry!
🧭 TOOLS FOR THE ROAD
I’m always bringing in new tools, and here are three I’m loving right now:
1️⃣ The Letting Go Technique — David R. Hawkins
From Letting Go: The Pathway to Surrender.
This practice invites you to simply be with your emotions for 10–20 minutes — not following the thoughts that accompany them, but allowing everything to be as it is. Even if there’s resistance. Breathe with it, and notice what shifts. (Here is an excerpt describing the process.)
2️⃣ The Vagus Nerve Breath — from The Great Nerve by Kevin J. Tracey, MD
A quick way to activate your “rest and digest” state. Note: Dr. Tracey informs that the fight/flight and rest/digest responses are not mutually exclusive. They often are happening simultaneously! That’s a new awareness!
- Inhale for 3 counts, letting your belly expand like a balloon.
- Exhale for 7 counts, gently pulling your stomach in.
Repeat this breathing pattern for about two minutes.
This simple rhythm helps reset the nervous system and restore calm.
3️⃣ Two-Way Prayer — learn more on Elizabeth Gilbert’s Substack
Originating from the early AA community, it’s a beautiful daily check-in. Once you’re centered and breathing deeply, ask within:
“What would You have me do today?” (see a diagram of this practice here)
Whether you address Love, God, or your Higher Self, listen for the response.
You can use this with any question: What would You have me do about this issue? How can I embrace my next growth edge?
When I asked about my survival fear, the guidance I received was simple:
Bring love to it. Let love contain the fear.
That wisdom, bring love, applies to many of our current expansions. We are collectively growing at a momentous rate — and yes, old baggage rises for release. These tools can help you navigate the waves with grace as we move into the final quarter of this wild, wondrous 2025.
🔮 CHANNELED WISDOM (Audio on this link)
Finally, I’d like to share a brief channeling. You can try this practice too — think of it as a spiritual pep talk. Sometimes it brings useful insights or surprises for the path ahead. Take what resonates, leave what doesn’t.
Greetings, fair ones. We are thrilled to be with you and to be involved with this message about best navigation ideas. It is good to brainstorm about this and not just keep plundering along without pausing. That may not be the best word to describe this. We’re often limited by the vocabulary here.
But to take quite some time of late to reflect, to examine your map, to check your plans with the reality. So, glad to be with you. And let us say this is all true that it has been a banging time, quote-unquote, a shake up, shaky time, shaky ground, just that things are being shaken up. And it is true that old things will rise for healing and clearing.
That is the idea. Healing is not about just going through pain for the sake of that. It is to clear and to heal, to embrace, to remember, to bring back those parts that were separated or dismissed or abused or made wrong.
REUNION AND REMEMBERING
In the light of the current day, those parts are brought back and there is a reunion of sorts in your heart, in your mind, in yourselves. This chance for reunion exists and it is part of the healing. There is the confronting of the challenge, the emotions, the pain, the hurt, the misconstrued conclusion from the past. All of this being held in love. Yes, it is.
And as part of it, it’s returned to love. It is returned to become part of your functioning again, as part of your cellular memory is restored. And that healing may seem like it was just about your five-year-old self, but it often goes back to your past lives and to your ancestral tapestry.
THE EGYPT EXPERIENCE RISES UP
We are reminded of when Denise visited Egypt and they were doing some remodeling, so to speak, in the temples and cleaning some of the intricate tiles. The vibrant colors were returning. And the designs were able to be newly viewed in their full beauty. This is similar to what happens when you do this deep healing work. The walls of your temple become grand and gorgeous.
And yes, this is all happening while in the outside world, things look quite dark and foreboding. But recall that a candle in a dark room transforms the darkness. Just as your inner temple’s brilliance, the vibration of that, permeates this entire existence and all that you share, even if you are not saying a word.
We greet you with open hearts and open arms on this day. May this find you well. And may you have some assistance and clues for your next steps and anything that needs healing from this recent round of movement. Take a breath, if you like, with us. And we send you a blessing.
Aho amen amin
FAQs
With tools, isn’t it better to stick with what works rather than trying new ones all the time?
Good question, and certainly keep with what works for you. One thing notable though about tools and go-to’s for handling stress – sometimes tools stop working as well as they used to. This includes more passive coping tools – for example, binge watching or drinking may have worked in the past, but you find it doesn’t work the same way now. I have found a general rule for stress mastery is to have 6-10 tools that work really well for you. This menu of options will change and shift over time. That variety helps you with all the different types of stress that may come up. And when there is new wisdom or a perspective from a new tool that broadens your view, that’s worth adding it to the mix.
Comment on this blog to get your question addressed. Thanks in advance for helping me flesh out these FAQs ✌️😊)
