Radiant Work Circle coaching group

For leaders, therapists, coaches, and healthcare professionals who sense they’re being called toward the second summit of their work.

You’ve built a meaningful career. You’ve developed expertise, earned trust, and contributed in ways that matter.

And yet… Something inside you knows your work is evolving.

Perhaps leadership has become heavier than fulfilling. Perhaps your practice no longer feels sustainable. You may love parts of your work, but you can’t see doing this for ten more years.

And if you’re longing to contribute differently – still, you aren’t willing to throw away everything you’ve spent years building.

This group is designed for that threshold.

Discover the next right livelihood mountain you’re meant to climb.

If you’re ready to connect with others on a similar journey, align your inner wisdom with soulful action, and gently clear the emotional and inherited patterns that can make change feel harder than it needs to be, please join us.

Change of this magnitude rarely feels straightforward.

Many can find themselves caught in an exhausting volley with self-doubt.

One day, you know something needs to change.

The next, you’re telling yourself, “Who am I to want more?”

You wonder whether you’re simply burned out… whether you should be grateful for the career you’ve built… whether you’re expecting too much… or whether leaving would mean throwing away everything you’ve worked so hard to create.

For leaders, the fear may be losing a respected position or identity. Or that a shift may mean less income.

For therapists, coaches, and healthcare professionals, the question is often different: “I still love helping people – Why does this way of working feel so hard now?”

These questions don’t mean something is wrong with you.

More often, they’re signs that you’ve grown – and that your work is asking to evolve with you.

Concerns are real, and so is the risk that comes with meaningful change. We won’t shy away from exploring either.

Bringing these fears into the light – supported by a thoughtful community- helps you discern what deserves careful consideration and what may simply be old echoes encouraging you to stay small, stay safe, or stay the same.

And as you may already know, staying the same doesn’t bring peace of mind. It doesn’t quiet the question that’s been asking for your attention. More often, that alert grows louder until we’re willing to listen.

Together, we’ll learn to distinguish the voice of fear from the voice of wisdom, so your next steps can come from clarity rather than the exhausting volley between ‘I know something needs to change’ and ‘Who am I to want more?’

This group offers a thoughtful community at a similar stage of life and work. People who are ready to explore what comes next with honesty, courage, compassion, and practical support.

You’ll leave with:
Greater clarity + a personal vision grounded in practicality + understanding of the patterns that kept you stuck + practical steps you’ve begun testing + community + confidence.

Why This Journey Is Easier Together

Meaningful career change is rarely just about strategy. It asks us to question old identities, outgrow familiar roles, and trust ourselves in new ways.

That’s much easier in community.

In this group you’ll learn from your own process and from witnessing the courage and insights of others. Often someone else’s breakthrough unlocks your own.

The group creates momentum and shared wisdom that help you gain clarity, test new possibilities, and take your next steps with real-world support.

Participants will have the option of adding 1-1 work with Denise during the ten-week group.

GROUP FOCUS ZONES

We’ll cover the first two steps of the Radiant Work framework and leave you ready to enter the pathway where you can start to create this in real life.

The Radiant Work framework recognizes that meaningful work transitions aren’t solved by strategy alone. We work simultaneously with clarity, the nervous system, identity, grief, intuition, and practical experimentation. This integrative approach is informed by my Three Levels of Healing model, developed through more than three decades as a therapist, coach, and educator.

While this group is coaching – not therapy – we recognize that meaningful career transitions often involve emotional, nervous system, and identity shifts. You’ll learn practical tools to navigate them with greater confidence and self-trust.

Step one: CLARITY

  • Gathering clues for what is now calling you
  • Support to name what you really want in your next ideal work reality
  • Set up the inner / outer details so you can better attract this / notice its arrival

Step two: FOUNDATIONS

  • Check in on practical realities such as financial considerations and needs
  • Name the blocks that have stopped you, the family/ancestral/cultural ceilings
  • Learn how to name and work with your inner BS that hijacks your best intentions
  • Beta test soulful action steps within the group support matrix

Working through these first two areas of the Radiant Livelihood Journey gives you greater clarity about where you’re headed and what creative steps to take next. By the end of these ten weeks, you’ll have a clearer picture of what you’re moving toward and several real-world experiments already underway.

See Denise’s Philosophy about this Radiant Work expansion – why it can be hard, and what works best, to do this deeply and sustainably.

Radiant Work Circle syllabus

The 10-Week Journey

Begins September 30, 2026

You’ve identified that your work is ready for a new chapter. The question now is: How do you discover what that chapter is—and build the capacity and courage to live it?

Radiant Work Circle takes you through a 10-week journey of clarity, inner alignment, practical action, and sustainable support.

This is the planned journey, not a rigid curriculum. Each person will bring a different dream, different challenges, and different needs. We’ll follow a clear overall arc while staying responsive to what emerges within the group.

Weeks 1–5: Discovering and Designing Your Radiant Work

Week 1 — Name the Dream

What is calling me?

Create the conditions to hear the clues about the work and life that are calling you next. Through guided experiential practices, Body-Mind-Heart meditation, inner wisdom, and exploration of meaningful memories and experiences, you’ll begin to articulate the next chapter that is emerging.

You may discover an expansion of your current work, a next level of your career, or something entirely new.

You’ll leave with: a richer picture of what is calling you, along with images, language, possibility, and renewed aliveness.

Week 2 — Name the Blocks

What happens inside me when I move toward the dream?

As you begin moving toward what you want, old beliefs, doubts, fears, procrastination, perfectionism, and protective patterns may arise.

You’ll learn to recognize these voices, explore where they come from, and become better at distinguishing old protective patterns from the deeper direction you want to follow.

You’ll leave with: greater awareness of the patterns that can derail your movement—and more choice about how you respond to them.

Week 3 — Shift the Blocks

How do I change what gets in my way?

We’ll practice tools for working with emotional and thought-based challenges that arise as you expand. You’ll learn ways to investigate, loosen, and shift limiting patterns rather than automatically believing or following them.

You’ll leave with: at least two practical tools you can use independently when doubt, fear, or resistance arises.

Week 4 — Whole-Brain Yes

How do I bring my whole self into alignment with the direction I’m choosing?

Knowing what you want intellectually is not always enough. We’ll engage creativity, imagination, intuition, emotion, and other ways of knowing so that more of you can participate in your next chapter.

Through experiential work—including powerful symbolic and intuitive practices—you’ll deepen your connection to your Radiant Work path.

You’ll leave with: a stronger sense of whole-self alignment and new ways to access your own inner guidance.

Week 5 — Design the Path

How do I begin bringing the dream into reality?

Now we turn toward action. We’ll identify practical steps, creative possibilities, resources, supports, and the concerns that need attention.

We’ll use collaborative problem-solving and flexible planning tools to create a path you can actually follow.

You’ll leave with: a workable framework for moving forward—and a way to track progress, challenges, support, and wins.

Weeks 6–10: Building the Capacity to Live Your Radiant Work

As you move toward your new work, clarity and capacity develop together. The second half of the journey helps you strengthen the inner and practical foundations that allow your Radiant Work to become sustainable.

Week 6 — Support the Expansion

Is my lifestyle supporting the life I’m building?

We’ll look at the foundations that support resilience and sustainable expansion: sleep, movement, nourishment, relaxation, stillness, and access to inner wisdom.

You’ll identify areas that are strong and areas where additional support or new practices may be needed.

You’ll leave with: one or more concrete practices to strengthen the foundation beneath your expansion.

Week 7 — Coping, Communication & Courage

How do I respond well when real-life challenges arise?

We’ll explore “good fit” coping—when to work with emotions, when to solve the problem, and when to use both. We’ll practice tools for communication, somatic decision-making, and letting go.

You’ll leave with: a broader coping toolkit and greater confidence in responding to challenges without losing sight of your direction.

Week 8 — Mindset, Alignment & Sustainable Action

What will help me keep moving forward?

As your Radiant Work becomes more real, new challenges and old patterns may surface. We’ll revisit mindset, whole-self alignment, productivity, and deeper practices for navigating another round of blocks.

You’ll leave with: a stronger personal toolkit for staying aligned, productive, resilient, and engaged in your next chapter.

Week 9 — Integrate & Troubleshoot

What have I learned—and what still needs attention?

We’ll step back and look at the bigger picture: your growth, blind spots, gifts, challenges, support needs, self-care, and courageous next steps.

This is a deeper integration and troubleshooting session designed to help you strengthen what is working and address what is not.

You’ll leave with: a clearer map of where you are now, what you’ve learned, and what needs to happen next.

Week 10 — The Path Ahead

How do I continue the journey beyond the Circle?

We’ll gather the learning, acknowledge the wins, anticipate future challenges, and identify the support and structures that will help you continue.

We’ll explore your ongoing Soulful Structure, Sanity Tools, and Deeper Work.

You’ll leave with: a personalized sense of the path ahead and the practices, people, and structures that can help you keep your Radiant Work alive.

The Journey in One View

Hear what is calling you → Recognize what gets in the way → Learn to shift it → Align your whole self → Design your path → Strengthen your foundation → Build resilience → Sustain your momentum → Integrate what you’ve learned → Continue the journey

The goal is not to emerge from ten weeks with every answer.

It is to become more able to hear yourself, trust what you discover, work skillfully with what gets in the way, and take meaningful action toward work and a life that feel truly your own.

Group Leader

Denise Barnes is a life and career coach, licensed trauma-informed somatic psychotherapist, and spiritual counselor who has spent more than three decades helping thoughtful, purpose-driven people navigate life’s biggest transitions.

While career strategy matters, meaningful change also involves working with the nervous system, limiting beliefs, grief, identity, spiritual/ethical frameworks, and intuition.

This group brings those elements to support both practical action and deep inner change. The result isn’t simply a new direction – it’s a way of creating work that reflects your deepest values, honors your inner wisdom, and can sustain you for years to come.

Learn more about Denise and the roots of her approach, which integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with intuitive and contemplative methods, helping clients create change that is both grounded and deeply personal.

Next steps: Is this group right for you at this time?

This group is intentionally small and designed for participants who are ready to engage deeply with both the practical steps and inner aspects of creating meaningful work.

You’ll likely be a good fit if you:

  • Are a therapist, coach, healthcare professional, or leader who senses you’re ready for a more aligned and fulfilling next chapter
  • Are willing to look honestly at the patterns, beliefs, and fears that may have kept you stuck
  • Have tools to regulate yourself during times of growth and are open to learning new ones
  • Value both practical action and inner exploration
  • Know you’re meant for more and are willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone, even when it feels uncertain
  • Have the space/time to commit to attending the group, participating respectfully, doing homework, and supporting the growth of others

This group is designed for personal and professional growth. It is not a substitute for treatment of acute mental health concerns or active addiction.

The goal isn’t simply to discover your next job. It’s to become the person who can create meaningful work again and again throughout the rest of your life.

Ready to explore?

If this speaks to you, I’d love to hear from you.

Because this is a small, carefully curated group, participation begins with a brief application and conversation to ensure the experience is a good fit for everyone involved.

Email me here about the Radiant Work Circle, and I’ll send you the application along with the next steps. Payment link will be forwarded to either pay in full, or for two payments.

Imagine looking back a year from now and realizing this was the season you finally stopped circling the question—and began creating work that truly reflects who you’ve become.

Past Client coaching experiences

Almost unfathomable what has shifted and the gears you got moving…

When Denise let me know that she was creating a group, I jumped at the chance to work with her on issues of wealth and creativity.  Having worked with Denise one-on-one in the past, however, I was unsure of how I’d feel sharing her time and expertise with other participants.  What I discovered was that her ability to zero in on the needs of her clients only became more charged and clear and created a sort of super magnet energy that connected the entire group in a dynamic, exciting, way.  Plus, by sharing the journey with other clients I was able to understand my journey more thoroughly, more quickly.  In one short month, I was on my way to living my intention: to be in awe of my joyful balanced life. I’m so grateful for the gears you got moving in me. It’s been almost unfathomable what has shifted.

Morgan Rowe, Life Coach/Chaplain, Actress/Writer, Portland, ME

“I’m doing the work I love, and contributing in the way I am meant to”

I was feeling full of all kinds of ideas but really didn’t know what to do … I needed help to focus, and be accountable again. I was feeling a little deflated – the job market, my unique profession – and I was not finding my new work in Boulder or Colorado. You had a spiritual component that I was drawn to, and the work was holistic. That’s essential, and I was drawn to that and your openness. You never pushed one way or another; you just kept asking me the questions that helped me get to the creative place, to get me to the next level. Now I’m really in my element, love the Northwest. I’m doing the work I love, and contributing in the way I am meant to. The work was really rich… heart and soul centered … phenomenal. I loved that you were so approachable and really knew what you were doing.
