BREAKING NEWS: UPPITY SPIRITUAL TYPES UNITE
Ever since I created the best Yo God! choir on top of the oak tree in the northeast corner of my backyard as a kid, I’ve been what you might call an uppity spiritual type ( UST). Perhaps I received the UST versus the EST training back in Atlantis. That whole collaboration with the trees, the wind, and the songs of praise left me no doubt that I could have direct access to the divine. My disappointment with the “real thing” when I did get to church shocked me. I thought, ” OMG – you guys should come to the woods with me – this could be a whole lot more fun.” I thought God responded better in the outdoors too. This was when I was still reverent.
In the Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsh, his method of divine communication started with a yellow legal pad. Neale was not having fun at the time. He’d tried his best to create good work, relationships, life – and it was all falling apart. In a fit of frustration, he wrote down a bunch of stuff aimed at God, ending in a sort of question/accusation. To his surprise, his hand then started writing of its own accord, saying something like, “Are you just ranting or would you like an answer?”
Many would balk at the idea that this type of conversation with God could be the real deal, and/or that they could have one. As a fellow UST, I would suspect, that you might not find this so hard to imagine. Connecting with intuition is dusted with God’s intelligence, don’tcha think? I mean, insights and ideas arrive from the intuitive place that are totally beyond my imagination. So, why not play with different forms where such a conversation with the G man can happen? If Neale can do it folks, so can we. (FYI, at the time his conversation started, I believe he was destitute; living in a tent.)
So… what the heck. Mercury’s retrograde, what else can happen? This is in response to a message I did get last week – when I was in that high altitude setting. The statement arrived unbidden. Take that with a pinch of oxygen, if you would.
GOD’S NOT BUYING YOUR MONEY CEILING

GOD’S NOT BUYING YOUR MONEY CEILING
Okay now, as far as we know, except in the case of biblical prophets on the heavenly payroll like Moses and Job and Noah etc., God’s not going to rise up usually and tell you off. Or tell you what to do, or suggest how you might do it better. God is happy to go along with your money limits and supply the creative substance to create exactly the mobile home, mansion, tent etc., that you imagine you deserve.
At the same time, the message I got the other day, is this. Don’t expect him to believe you when you think you have certain money limits. Ooop, he just yawned; rolled his eyes a little. I guess he/she/ all that is/it’s seen this kind of thing before. Certainly, she’ll raise her eyebrows, and perhaps sigh, “Okay. You’re clear about that, right?”
God’s tired of our self-imposed limits with money and success, and all the delays. Mercury retrograde or not. I might be projecting here – but my sense is – Super Source is ready for us to get our booties moving toward our genius work that pays well. That way, this bloody wild transition time can have a bit of forward motion. A progressive sequence will be visible amidst the chaos. This is the time. Not much to lose, and pretty soon, there will be even less to lose. In a good way, let’s hope.
Sure easy for God to say, “Just take the leap already, will ya?” from that vantage point. Yes lord goddess, I’d like to invite you just to stand inside this bag of bones for a minute and say that… Oop, okay, here he/she is. Okay, so this dude’s been around. He’s got cred. At any rate, why don’t we go directly to the source and ask a few questions before he falls asleep on us? How does that sound?

Howdy there Creator, Dear Lord Goddess, Yo “Friend”, How’s It Hanging Big Guy,
(“At first you might have all these human hems and haws at the idea of addressing God, directly, like – “Oh jeesh, are you busy? Don’t I need an appointment, like say Judgment Day? It’s just me and I can come back later”, etc. Just ignore that stuff, and proceed with your questions.)
Please explain Dear One, the whole note you sent to Denise re: not buying our money limits.
G: Kind of a clever play on words there, eh? Okay, look – I never was complicit, you see, in the spirituality equals chastity or equals poverty thing. I mean I appreciate any attempt at worship, but those in particular seemed like the uphill-climb, against-the-grain choices to me. So my statement was – it was just a reminder, just a note I felt compelled to share. In these times, this interesting moment and corridor in time that you all are in – you don’t need any more limits. And you know, Denise was pretty high up there – easier for her to hear my musings.
Db: Yes, the money piece is in a big contraction/change zone now. What’s your sense of the money energy transformation before us? What would it be good for a soul business owner to be aware of?
G: In terms of the money transformation before us, it’s a cross between the first fish walking, and the Berlin wall crumbling. Of that magnitude. So it’s the end times for the anciently-based sense that being poor or working harder makes you a good monk – clean, righteous. I know we often don’t think in these words specifically. But it’s as if the energy of money is negative, so that struggle or lack of ease with it can seem noble. Character-building. Well that’s BS. Malarkey, I hear Denise calling it. That idea is not based in divine reality. It’s time, as you say, to get over it.
Nobody said making miracles is easy – and following the path of your true soul’s mission – even keeping your finger on the pulse of it, in these times, is nothing short of a miracle. On the other hand, it isn’t as hard as you sometimes make it, and it can even be fun. Perhaps you are starting to see that the alternatives aren’t great either – pretty spirit numbing to squash, ignore or back burner your true genius, eh? So… money limits, genius limits – I don’t buy them. Though I won’t interfere with your creations, prime directive and all. Yes, I’m rooting for raising that ceiling. Constantly.
Db: Gotcha. So, sounds like a big shift ahead. And like the Berlin Wall crumbling, hard to even imagine what it’ll look like. How do we lean into that?
G: You already are, many of you. The old money system is based on competition and fear. It’s shifting to cooperation. Most of you are already there with that energy – you just have to apply it to your money scene. Think love versus ugh. Think transformation process versus debt repayment. There are steps to this, but that’s the basic idea. What if money were a spiritual anti-oxidant for your heart health? Think of it that way – feel into that heart-and-soul-supporting reality of money.
And take the steps you need to take. Most of the time, this involves stretching beyond your comfort zone, your money ceiling, Denise has been calling these. This is where the rubber meets the road on your money healing path. Yeah, sometimes you don’t feel like exercising, but it sure feels better once you have, doesn’t it? Same with soul genius – a little daily dose and you will feed and be fed, lead and be led – to the next best step for you and all that is.
Db: Can you say more about the “nothing to lose” part? Seems there is a lot to lose at times.
G: All your efforts won’t guarantee anything in the earth walk. Shit and shifts happen, if you pardon my French and allow a succinct statement of fact. From the view of a spiritual being on the earth journey, the question is – are you serving me to your fullest, in your most sacred and unique, full-flowered way? Is my best gift to you leading the foray of your talent shingle stomp? Well then, there is no time to lose.
Nothing to lose, then again – it’s relative. The human side gets nervous, but survival, life – these are no big whoops once you’ve crossed over – when that Big Perspective returns. Standard of living, security – these are not the reasons to put off anchoring your life in the truth and the gift of your soul’s genius. Comprende?

G: Just consider, children of Spirit – how would your life change tomorrow if there were nothing to lose? If the deeper reality truly, even occasionally, ruled your daily choices?

G: There is always something you can do, even if it’s not the whole thing you might consider ideal. Small steps keep you moving.
