Sometimes you know something is off, but you can’t quite see what it is.
You may feel stuck, foggy, activated, at a crossroads – or simply know that something deeper is going on beneath the surface.
This is where my Energy Healing & Intuitive Work can help.
What is this?
I use intuition, energetic awareness, imagery, and my background as a psychotherapist and coach to explore the unseen layers of an issue you’re struggling with.
I’ve studied energy healing formally since 2000, and this work includes specific methods for noticing patterns, impressions, and areas that may feel “off” or in need of attention within an energetic framework that includes the chakras, aura, and grounding.
I create a sacred space and healing container for the session, and we begin with what you want to explore.
Then I share what I’m seeing, sensing, or receiving.
You get to tell me what resonates.
From there, the session becomes a co-creative conversation. As we explore the impressions that arise, new connections and insights often emerge, deepening your understanding of what is really going on.
I don’t treat an intuitive impression as an absolute truth or a diagnosis.
You are the expert on your own experience.
My role is to help you see what may be difficult to see on your own.
Who is it for?
Intuitive work can be especially useful when you:
- need insight or perspective about a current challenge
- are wondering about next steps in your life, work, or business
- want to use more of your gifts in your work
- are struggling with relationship, money, career, or recurring life patterns
- sense that old beliefs or “programming” are holding you back
- feel that something deeper is asking for your attention
Sometimes you know the question. Sometimes you don’t.
Either is a perfectly good place to begin.
What is a session like?
Clients have brought questions such as:
Is this relationship right for me?
Should I look for another job?
What is going on with this recurring pattern in my life?
What am I here to do?
What’s going on with this situation I’ve been struggling with?
One client came in asking a very practical question:
Should I look for a new job?
At the first level, the answer was yes. It made sense to update her résumé, research salaries, and see what opportunities were available – even if she ultimately stayed where she was.
But as we explored further, another layer emerged.
We talked about the stability she had created by staying in her job and how, in some ways, that had been important and healing for her. She had just been discussing this with a friend, and never expected to still be at this job.
Then another question surfaced:
Was this job actually the work her soul was asking for?
She realized she had been coming home from work with very little energy and spending most evenings watching television. She also remembered a long-held dream of doing work she cared deeply about – and traveling for it.
Suddenly the original question had opened into something much larger.
She wasn’t simply asking, Should I get another job? She was beginning to ask:
What do I actually want my life to be about?
That is often how intuitive work unfolds.
A straightforward question can open the door to something deeper – an old desire, a forgotten truth, a new perspective, or that wonderful “Doh! Of course.” moment when something you already knew becomes accessible again.
The goal isn’t for me to tell you what to do.
The goal is to help bring more of your own wisdom and clarity into consciousness so that your next steps become easier to see.
And sometimes those next steps are simple, even when they aren’t easy.
My training as an Intuitive & Energy Healer
My professional foundation is clinical.
I trained as a somatic, body-based psychotherapist, and my Colorado psychotherapy license began in 1997. I trained in professional coaching in 2005 through the Institute for Life Coach Training.
My formal study of Energy Healing, also known as Psychic Healing, began in 2000 with my teacher Anamari McNamara, a third-generation psychic. She recognized an intuitive ability in me early on.
Intuition had actually been part of my life long before that.
As a child, I often picked up on what was happening beneath the surface of things. Like many people, I also learned to doubt those perceptions. Part of becoming more authentic has been learning to reconnect with those subtler senses – not as infallible truth, but as another source of information.
For more than two decades, I was also blessed to study energy-based massage work with Boulder healer Jim Goldman. He taught me how to bring intuitive knowing into bodywork and helped me discover that powerful healing isn’t always about going deeper into the muscles.
Sometimes grounding, intention, presence, and energetic awareness can create a profound shift.
Over time, I’ve come to appreciate how naturally these different parts of my training fit together.
Why this work?
I believe human beings are more than the problems they are trying to solve.
We are bodies, minds, emotions, relationships, stories – and, for those of us who experience life spiritually, souls.
Sometimes the next step in healing isn’t more information.
Sometimes it’s seeing something from a different angle.
Sometimes it’s reconnecting with a part of yourself that got buried along the way.
Sometimes it’s simply remembering what you already knew.
That’s what I love about this work.
I bring my training, intuition, curiosity, and grounded clinical perspective.
You bring your experience, your discernment, and your own inner wisdom.
Together, we listen for what wants to emerge.
Curious?
You can begin with a Clarity Session and see what happens.
You don’t have to adopt a particular belief system. You don’t have to know exactly what you need to ask.
You just need a willingness to be curious.
