Even good change can cause those “danger danger” signals and the discouraging words that fuel stuck-ness.

When I booked a shamanic pilgrimage to Egypt a while back, I thought it would be a harmless little tourist trip. But then I heard this boooming voice – which I later realized were the “old biddy” ancestors. “You’re inviting disaster!!” “What is she doing?” At that point I knew this was bigger than me, and that I was stepping out of the family comfort zone. Wow! This expansion threatened to burst me from my own DNA stream! Whether it’s the Old Biddy Backlash, or your own version of nay saying, the sad truth is – those negative voices of fear stop you from really moving forward as you planned.

The backlash is like being stuck in the birth canal – you can regress and shut down. You doubt everything. Previously clear plans go into scramble mode. Well, I know the support that is required to keep things moving. THE CURRENT TIMES AND THE NEW LACK OF SLACK

When I hired a coach for the first time (on a discounted offer, just like this, in fact, in 2004), I was amazed. On my own, problems easily got blown out of proportion. It was easy to stay stuck longer. The finish line receded, or completely disappeared – no matter the size of the project. The lost perspective and stressful inaction took on a life of its own, often when I was on the brink of playing bigger. Ow!

DENISE’S QUALIFICATIONS

A spiritual seeker since her 20s, Denise left NJ and moved to Boulder, CO to get her training at Naropa Institute in Somatic Psychotherapy. She received her MA level professional counseling license (LPC) in 1997. Along the way to developing mastery in the health psychology field, she kept her hand in music and comedy performance arts. This led to hiring a coach for her one woman show, and then completing coaching training in 2005. During this time she studied Energy Healing, a type of psychic healing work, with third generation psychic Anamari McNamara. She became a Reverend after this study of Intuition based healing in 2018.

Denise has been called a walking library of business resources, and a great translator of some of the biz gurus she’s studied with (e.g., Mark Silver, Robert Middleton, Molly Gordon, Samantha Hartley). Her intuitive, therapy and coaching skills empower people to break through limitations to create better finances and work scenarios. It’s all about getting back to the soul mission path.
